3. Take Immune Boosting Supplements

Supplement disclaimer: Please consult your practitioner before taking any of the recommended supplements below. Supplements are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you are having severe symptoms, please visit your local ER.

Supplements for immunity:

  • Emulsi-D3 Synergy– Vitamin D is critical for a healthy immune system.  Liposomal vitamin D Supreme is a convenient and effective way to dose highly absorbable and bioavailable vitamin D.
Recommended Use: As a dietary supplement, take 1 mL per day, or as directed by your health care practitioner.
  • Liposomal Vitamin C– Vitamin C is best known for its antioxidant function and as a neutralizer of free radicals and a recycling agent of vitamin E and glutathione.  Liposomal vitamin C offers a well-tolerated, easily absorbed and highly bioavailable form of vitamin C without the unpleasant side-effects of high oral doses.
Recommended Use: As a dietary supplement, take 5 mL (approx. 1 teaspoon) and hold in mouth for 30 seconds before swallowing, or as directed by your health care practitioner.
  • Zinc Supreme– Zinc Supreme is a unique chelated zinc formula enhanced with vitamins B2 and B6, molybdenum, taurine and malic acid for optimal zinc absorption and utilization. Zinc is involved in virtually every aspect of immunity. Zinc has antiviral activity, including activity against several viruses that cause the common cold.
Recommended Use: As a dietary supplement, take one capsule per day with a meal, or as directed by your health care practitioner.
  • ImmunoBerry Liquid– The elderberry has the ability to stimulate the immune system helping to reduce common cold duration, influenza, as well as ameliorate flu-like symptoms.  The elderberry fruit directly targets and blocks viral glycoproteins that are responsible for the attachment and entry into the host’s cells.  Antiviral effects of the elderberry plant work by upregulating the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6, IL-8, and TNF in order to elicit a more effective response against the invading pathogen. This formula also contains astragalus, shitake and maitake mushrooms, wild cherry bark, and beta 1,3 glucan.  Research suggests that the combination of herbs, mushrooms and other natural compounds has potential antiviral and antibacterial ability, as well as the ability to stimulate natural killer (NK) cell activity, cytokine synthesis and the T-cell and B-cell mediated responses necessary for a strong immune defense.
Recommended Use: As a dietary supplement, take 1 ml (approx. 35 drops) per day, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
  • Monolaurin-Avail– Monolaurin (glycerol monolaurate) is a potent virucidal and bactericidal agent. It is believed to inactivate lipid-coated viruses by binding to the lipid-protein viral envelope, thereby preventing it from attaching to and entering host cells.
Recommended Use: As a dietary supplement, take two capsules per day with a meal, or as directed by your health care practitioner.
  • Immune Support Packets– These packets contain a comprehensive arsenal of immune-supportive nutrients, helping the body maintain a strong defense. Products that comprise these packets were selected for their abilities to support the body’s overall healthy immune response, providing the body with efficacious amounts of vitamin D (balanced with vitamins A, E and K, the remaining fat soluble vitamins), vitamin C, zinc, and a wide array of antioxidants.
Recommended Use: As a dietary supplement, take one packet per day, or as directed by your health care practitioner.

Please Note: The immune packets will be available through our online store by early next week.  The other items will be available soon.

What to do if you have symptoms:

According to the CDC:

Reported illnesses have ranged from mild symptoms to severe illness and death for confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases.

The following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure.*

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath

For mild symptoms such as fever and cough, the CDC recommends that you:

  • Stay home: People who are mildly ill with COVID-19 are able to isolate at home during their illness. You should restrict activities outside your home, except for getting medical care.
  • Avoid public areas: Do not go to work, school, or public areas.
  • Avoid public transportation: Avoid using public transportation, ride-sharing, or taxis.

If you have severe symptoms, go to ER (not Urgent Care, as the ER is better equipped). We recommend calling ahead of time to ensure that the ER is prepared.
